I sold my phone on eBay. Kid buys it Wednesday night. I pack and hand it off to the mailroom early Thursday morning for shipping. They wind up not sending it out until Monday. Fine. Whatever. You don't know the half of it.

On Jan 1 the price of unlimited metrocards went up. I'm on wageworks and had a small backlog of cards. In Nov I called WW to verify that my card would work in the new year. They said yes. I had a year to use it. Awesome.

Fast-forward to today, when I tried to use one of them and it didn't work. Turns out the operator was wrong. Also turns out Wageworks doesn't issue refunds, even when the fault is clearly theirs.

In short, they fucked me out of $89.

From the start he's sounded like some kid who wants a rooted phone but hasn't the faintest idea how to do it (hence buying my pre-rooted Evo). He said he wanted to use it on Cricket, so I dug up an in-depth guide on how to do it. It's involved, but if you can follow instructions you should be good.

My best guess is he realized he's bitten off more than he can chew and is trying to weasel out of the auction. And since I said "NO REFUNDS" right there in the auction, this is his only shot.

How is it that he can file so soon? I thought there was some kind of standard waiting period?
