And basically this is my last day on holiday. I wake up early, check the way to go to my destination, and leave. Notice I have that purple windbreaker? I will lose it later. Look at my spiffy new Pokémon merch!
I love trails where you can get little snacks along the way. That place looks great!
I never know when a local says it's safer to walk along the road if they mean you're less likely to slip or you're less likely to get attacked or if they're just not that into hiking in the first place and assume people just want the fastest route between the tourist sights. Sometimes I follow their advice and sometimes I don't, but I've never encountered the thing they think is so unsafe, so who knows?
Part of the reason I listened to him was because it was raining lightly so everything was getting wet, and my shoes were not exactly good for hiking. I brought this pair of Taobao shoes that costed like $70 HKD (like, less than $9 USD) and while it was good for the first 2-3 days, I did feel the cushioning get flatter and less cushion-y and it didn’t have much support, haha! I guess I’ll have to invest in a good pair of walking or hiking shoes later in the year as I have Austria on my travel plans, and believe me, there’s gonna be a lot of walking there.

Why no tattoos? Because of the Yakuza connection maybe?

yes, that’s the reason for the no-tattoo rule. There are some public paths that allow but I couldn’t find any that was in the area.
