They are normal for Deadman Wonderland. That is the prison I came here from.

So death meets those who do not obtain and antidote. What does this antidote look like?

As in we are obligated to fight...in order to what, to obtain an antidote? How does this fighting work? [ He's wording things carefully as he could. ]

Ah, it's like it says here. [He raises the "rule book" that was left by the event.] By fighting and winning, you obtain candy. The candy is the antidote.

What is the purpose of such an event? I just don't understand the point if we're risking death in the process...

My guess is that it's playing off of my memories. And this is...in some ways, it is very true to those.

Most of my world is normal. It's just the place I come from that's insane.
