I...suppose I have to claim responsibility for this event.

I know there are those here who would rather not fight. Or who can not. I may be able to help you, if you contact me.

event, cloudy weather, [game] entranceway, for all of our scars

[It wasn't often that someone publicly told that an event was theirs. Minato was somewhat concerned for Nagi not only because he had already lost a word, but he knew that there was some tension between him and other residents of the Mansion. Okay, just one that he knew of, hence why this thread is so locked forever. No, he isn't wearing a scarf over it unlike what his icon indicates.]

The collars are normal for your world?

[Nagi, on the other hand, is wearing his scarf over his collar. Just like always.]

They are normal for Deadman Wonderland. That is the prison I came here from.

[The answer only confirmed the information from the booklet. Now they were all stuck with the collars. At least it was only an event and they should disappear, but... probably not for the owner of the memory.]

But outside the prison they're not required, correct?

Correct. Deadman Wonderland is the only place that uses them, as far as I know.

... How do you get the collars off?

It's freaking me out a little.

They can't be removed.

*As if he didn't know this already.*

[He can't help chuckling quietly.] Yes, I have to agree with you on that.

Fortunately, they should vanish when the event ends.

Are we required to fight to the death?

Ah...we weren't at home.

That's a relief.

Is there anything else we should know?

If this rule book is comprehensive, I can't think of anything. It seems fairly straightforward.

Explain to me what will happen with these collars?

What do you mean by fight?

The collar will poison you. To death, if you don't get the antidote.

I'm...not sure I understand your second question.

Poisonous? [ He does not like that comment at all. Chances are he is suseptible to that because of the Event. Usually poison was nothing to him. ]

So death meets those who do not obtain and antidote. What does this antidote look like?

As in we are obligated to fight...in order to what, to obtain an antidote? How does this fighting work? [ He's wording things carefully as he could. ]

Ah, it's like it says here. [He raises the "rule book" that was left by the event.] By fighting and winning, you obtain candy. The candy is the antidote.

This...is an event? [Yeah, he's been busy tugging at the collar around his neck for a while now. He's not a fan, man.]

What is the purpose of such an event? I just don't understand the point if we're risking death in the process...

My guess is that it's playing off of my memories. And this is...in some ways, it is very true to those.

What kind of world do you come from where fighting is so crucial to survival? I can't imagine it being pleasant at all...

Most of my world is normal. It's just the place I come from that's insane.

It's a prison called Deadman Wonderland. All inmates wear these collars.
