take a person, put them in a room with just a computer that's running a word processing program. the person is only allowed to leave to use the restroom and sleep, all food is brought to them. the person just sits in this room typing out their free-flowing thoughts. i think it would be interesting to follow the person as they unravel their psyche. last night we were talking about jobs that require interaction with people and i started thinking about when i worked at babbage's. i was reminded of the deaf/mute boy who used to come in and write me notes asking about games. if i had time i would always write back to him and try and help him out. it made me pretty sappy and it actually made me ( Read more... )

you know the times when you laugh so hard that you aren't making any noise? what if an entire audience laughed that hard at a joke?

yesterday i tried to say the sentence "claude wolfe morally raped bobby" but instead i said "crob"......which i guess is kind of like a condensed version of that sentence....?

it's been 2 years. the scenery is different but the feeling remains. the smell of rotten eggs is as potent now as it was during those sobering few days during the holiday season of 2001-2002. though i'm happy to say that this year my thoughts have not dwelled (dwelt? been dwelling? god i'm dumb) as much on those events as they did last year.
