Living Books on Enough Rope

The best concept ever, Living Books (people) to be borrowed at Libraries, was just presented on Enough Rope.
The extremely forward thinking people of Sweden came up with the idea.

At the end the transvestite who'd been a living book quoted Oscar Wilde.

“Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.”

Back when I worked for them the Australian National Library had a program to tape older people, to get their history and their views on events before it was all lost. I think it's still going too - IIRC it was called Living History.
