I went to see a Mariachi competition last night.

Seriously.

It was GREAT.

It was a nationwide competition for middle school, high school and college level. There were about 20 or 30 groups performing, and all but two hailed from Texas. One from Arizona (understandable), and one from.... Harvard?

I finally believe that I'm going to be part of a good band here in Texas. Only took a couple of years.

It doesn't really feel like the fall.

I mean.. it's halfway through October for goodness' sake.

My god I feel like shit. I'm running a fever. Broke it once, but it's back. I'm fuuuuucking bored.

I'm currently not pleased with Melissa as she came home after having a bad day and showed zero compassion for my being sick and feeling like ass, and then making me feel like I'm to blame for screwing her day up.

So, I'm fuming. And I'm bored

My cat sat down in the kitchen in front of the folding doors in front of our washer and dryer. His tail wiggled under the gap between the door and the floor behind him.
