This is to anyone who caught the Flame Oz daytime show at Halifax Buskers. While the two girls are doing their floor hula hoop routine, the song Hey Big Spender is playing. Does anyone know who does that version? I've been flipping through YouTube and I can't find anything that sounds right. And I don't have $20 to buy the show's CD :(

I was wondering if anyone knew where perhaps I might buy this in the Halifax/Dartmouth area?

It's REAL short notice but if anyone here fancies them handy with a pen and pencil there is a Comic Jam happening in Halifax at Gus' Pub on North and Agricola tonight at 7pm, running until 11pm or so. Anyone 19+ is welcome to come out and draw with us. It's a monthly event so if you can't make it out tonight there's always next month.

I'm looking for recommendations for private child care on the Penninsula, preferably in the North End or near downtown. In the area of the rotary would also be good.

We're not looking for a spot for at least a year, but I know these things can take some time.

Does anyone know anyone? Or someone who might know someone?
