“The doctor said four weeks would be better,” Gerard’s mom commented, poking around in the fridge, then straightening and pouring Gerard a cup of lies.
I admit I possibly over-identify with Gerard and his caffeine addiction. Like, I get why people drink decaf? But the idea of drinking it myself totally offends me on a deep, spiritual level, lol.
CUP OF LIES. LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIES. (Of course, I don't actually drink coffee, as it tastes nasty and the strongest I can go is mocha, but LIIIIIIIIIIIES.)
Oh man, harsh, Gabe. If you're so glad to see him, you shouldn't be putting him down like that! Poor guy doesn't need it (though, hey, Gerard probably doesn't even realize it, so who knows :D).
I WAS SO WORRIED, I could not figure out how he could be saved and I was FREAKING OUT in my class and on the way home. But now I'm all good. I'm just worried that Frank will go away because that would be sad but there isn't a sad ending, right? Right??
I was so focused on Gerard when I read this the first time that I completely missed what you did with Dewees and his partner - it's Mulder and Scully! So awesome! (Yes, Doctor Who might have been my gateway to fanfic fandom but X-Files was my first real fandom :-)

Lovely moment with Ted. I appreciated that.
Whole hospital episode, including appallingly bad sneakiness, was fantastic.
Best last paragraph of a chapter ever :D
