the past two weeks have been rather hectic. i helped out in the afterschool program where i'm interning. and got slammed in the face with a wiffle ball hit by a 5th grade girl.

it even bent my glasses! plus you have to add in the shame of having a bruised eye from a child's toy...

Yeah, getting hit in the pride can hurt more than getting hit in the face sometimes, lol.

aw i like the kids though. i did the afterschool thing again today. one boy asked how my eye turned out. i told him about the "huge bruise" and how i told everyone i got it in a fight. apparently that was the coolest thing ever. :) i helped some kids with their homework and lost to a first-grader in jenga. it was awesome :)
