If it were me, I wouldn't, but then again I'm planning on going on the PhD track right out of college.

I had the same scenario, I was told I could be done at the end of this year, and instead I decided to take an easy semester (ok I was FORCED to take an easy semester) and even if I hadn't, I still had decided that I wanted to stay here 4 years.

Just my 2 cents...

If it was me, I totally would graduate early. But it's probably different for you than me, seeing as you're living on campus. Congrats on getting that far that soon!

thanks :) graduating early really sounds nice, but i don't want to abandon my roommate so i dunno. it would be so much easier if we could just get an apartment next year, but her mother won't pay for one. so i dunno. i've got yahoo messenger now so we should talk sometime :)

i can't believe people are already thinking about graduating! it's unreal...

here's my opinion: if there are more classes you're interested in taking, just for fun/being a well-rounded person, then take a full but easy year next year. It would also be a good idea to take some classes that will make it easier for you to get a job, something marketable. (I can't say I would know what to do with a psych degree) If not, then I'd say, graduate early and study abroad for a semester! Or work abroad. THEN you can go out into the real world. :)

With that said, at least I'D be disappointed if you only stayed 1 semester after I got back... :'( But happy if you moved on to bigger and better things :D

i know! it's scary, right? i was thinking about maybe taking some business classes if i do stay. perhaps advertising. i dunno. i've heard people like that and i think it'd be pretty marketable. i'm going to talk to a career counselor next week so maybe that'll help me figure some stuff out. where are you planning on living next year? because you should be our suitemate in hillenbrand. :) that'd be awesome.

what? no apartment with me next year? I was hoping to get an apartment... maybe it's because i've been spoiled with single rooms and kitchens and tv's. Besides, an apartment is most likely cheaper than the dorms, especially because you do your own meals. But if I do end up living in Hillenbrand, I'd gladly be your suitemate!

I'm got to figure out if I want to set things up to do that too. The study abroad idea sounds awesome. Unless there are classes you'd like to take just for fun and wouldn't have time for, I'd do it. but then again.....it's a tough choice! Habla con tu padre...he's smart.

yeah study abroad does sound nice. but i don't know. i should get an internship or something to improve my resume. where do you want to study abroad? decided on anywhere particular yet, or just everywhere in general? i'm afraid to parle avec mon pere. he didn't want me to switch out of bio because he didn't think i'd be able to find a job with a psych degree. but we've been having good conversations when i've talked to him recently so maybe i will...
