Ok, went to another doctor, turns out the other one was insane.
I don't have swimmers ear, I have a hole in my eardrum
I don't need the eardrops
The antibiotic I was given isn't recomended for minors unless they're infected with ANTHRAX, which I don't think I am.

But what is it caused by? And does it impair your hearing?

I've had this before, it's apparently supposed to hurt but it doesn't.
It was from when I went swimming, went too far down, wadda wadda wadda. Pressure changes can cause it.
