as much as it sucks to have someone close to you die, it's a lot worse to know that he's most likely going to die soon and there's nothing that i can do about it. it's also pretty messed up that he said he wants to just go to sleep forever so the pain will go away. i love you grandpa mick, and i just hope that you don't have to feel that pain

Has anyone heard Peach, Plum, Pear by Joanna Newsom? I can't tell if I hate it or really like it. The lyrics are completely nonsensical but there's something about it that makes me want to listen to it. I watched a video of her playing it live and there's something about her that makes her look like she should be in a straightjacket.
