Derek was here. Obviously. They'd already played Hufflepuff but Gryffindor, Gryffindor Derek still had to keep an eye on. And why yes, he was taking notes today. They had to be ready when the last game came around after all. And they would be.
Actually, Derek was a little uncomfortable with today's game. His first instinct was to cheer for Hufflepuff because there used to be Darin and even with his best mate gone Derek's protege Anya was still there. Although Puff had beat Ravenclaw and Derek was still a bit bitter about it, Hufflepuff was his default choice when Claw wasn't playing. It's just how it went. Which was a little difficult when you had friends on Gryffindor too but what could you do. Somewhere, you had to pick a side. Problem was, in order for Ravenclaw to stay in the running for the Quidditch Cup, Hufflepuff had to lose one of their next two games- and Derek sure as hell wasn't going to hope for them to lose to Slytherin. So...apparently he was a Gryffindor fan today. It felt odd

Lia hadn't been able to persuade anyone else to come to the match early with her. Well, she reasoned, maybe they didn't think she'd be much fun, what with the notepad she had in her pocket and all.
What? She needed to start preparing for their last match. Ravenclaw was only going to be in the lead for another couple of hours, and she planned to spend that time figuring out how they could get back there again later.
But hey, if anyone would understand the need to start planning for a match three months in the future, it would be Derek, who Lia was happy to see was also already in the stands.
"Good morning!" she said cheerfully, dropping into the seat next to him.

"Lia!" Derek smiled at his Assistant to the Captain as she joined him. "Morning." Had he mentioned that she was a brilliant assistant captain? Because she was. Lia got just as into all of this Quidditch planning as he did- which was more than could be said for most of the team, but never mind that! The team management had their heads in the game and really, half of their players probably worked better without too much instruction. Tell them where to go and send them off, but don't complicate things or expect their attention to last. It was working so far, anyway. Derek wasn't going to mess with it.
The good thing, of course, was now that Lia was here they could plot together. "Not sitting with Cody or anything?"

As if Tobias was here for the quidditch match. Please. Gryffindor and Hufflepuff? He'd rather barf. He might just do that anyway, after last week he really hadn't been feeling the best. Those fucking birdbrains. Tobias may have refused to speak to Hannah since the event, since the very first goal. And it might just stay that way, he wasn't feeling particularly talkative toward anyone in blue

That's right that they were going to win today! J.J. was pumped, as he was for any game, but he was ready to go kick some Gryffindor ass. And he was pretty sure that the rest of the team was pretty pumped as well. At least they better be.
"Ready?" He grinned at Nate, adjusting his pads and making sure that he had everything with him.

"Always!" Nate responded with a bit more confidence than he really felt. He always got nervous before a match - almost enough to retch - but he wasn't going to admit that.
