It sounds like you need to move out. Are you able to either increase your student loans to pay for housing, or perhaps qualify to be a student worker?

I need the loans to get through nursing school to pay for my classes

Right, I get that. So you're not able to take out additional loans (either Stafford loans or private loans) to pay for housing and living expenses then? That's what I had to do in my masters program, and for a good chunk of my doctorate.

I need a co-signer for a private loan. My credit isn't good. NMom wont help me with that. If I get more money for a stafford loan it wont be enough to live on my own for long. I don't have car and I will need a way to get to school and work
