Had a productive morning before work.  I received one of my larger, three-instead-of-two week paychecks, so I paid bills and set money aside for things.  I made my last payment to get my Bank of America card back down to $0, paid my Cingular bill, ordered new checks with the correct address, and set aside ( Read more... )

My Great Aunt Loretta passed away this morning.  She was my grandmother's next youngest sister.  I grew up seeing her almost every weekend and going on vacations with her because my grandmother and her sisters were closer than any other family I have ever met.  Her husband's funeral was the first one I ever attended, when I was in 3rd grade.  It ( Read more... )

ThinkGeek sells a women's t-shirt that is plum colored and in pretty, medieval-esque pink lettering reads "huge tracts of land."

I like a lot of geeky t-shirts.  I love this one.

I can no longer rattle off the Greek alphabet from memory.  That used to be one of my useless party tricks.

I am still sick.  I plan to drag myself to work tomorrow.
