I've never been the spiritual type, but I can't help but wonder if we're being punished at the rate things are going. Faith has always been limited not only due to disappointment, but I've always maintained the notion that simply being a good person is enough. I've always been morally conscience; I've never knowingly hurt someone at my own consent

You know, I've really come to realize that more than anything. I actually joined a community online (pug_pics) that has really lifted my spirits these past few days. Seeing all of the photos reminds me so much of all the great times we've shared. Though I have to admit, the first day I couldn't come close to containing the tears, let alone looking at anything that even remotely reminded me of him, but I think I'm coming to terms now. And I know he's doing well in puggy heaven.

I have to wonder what saddens me more, human losses or pet losses. There's really a fine line... but it all goes hand in hand with family anyway. Any loss is painful.

But, I guess we've all been there at some point or another...
