Between the two of us, I had a few...romps in my day. To be honest, I probably would have been exterminated not only for "homosexual tendancies" but for my syndactylism as well. Thank Gott for being one of the most revered scientists of the Party, eh? ^o^

Things like this require time; when someone comes out unexpectedly, it's a lot to take in at once. He'll need to sort things out for himself und think about whether he feels the same way. From what I can tell, you two have a very strong friendship, und even if he doesn't reciprocate the feelings, I doubt this will put more than a dent in your relationship.
