"Don't you remember? I'm a ninja," she responded, with a small wink. "I have my ways of getting in here."
She paused momentarily to take in Green's apartment; it was quite nice and stylish, and also meticulously neat. Not that she had expected anything else, after all-- he kept himself in wonderful health, and Janine had figured any other aspect of his life would be the same.
Although she had to admit, she hadn't been expecting the candles, as nice of a touch as they were. Maybe she would have to pick some up for the Fuchsia Gym tomorrow.
"You have a nice apartment," she noted, taking a seat on the plush couch he had. "Unfortunately my home isn't nearly as nice as yours... it's overdue for a cleaning." She paused.
"I hope my arrival here hasn't presented any sort of inconvenience to you."

But still, he liked those moments when she let her guard down-whether in surprise or amusement.
He was glad that he looked away to survey his house; he needed a moment to collect himself. When she made herself comfortable on his couch, he gave her a lopsided smile and settled in beside her.
"Thank you," he replied. "And hey, you're a busy woman, right?" He gave her a friendly nudge with his shoulder. "There's no need to get all uptight on me, come on. Take it easy."

She gave him a small smile when he nudged her. "Forgive me, it's a habit, I suppose," Janine said. She placed her hands on her laps and concentrated on the warm glow of the candles. She honestly had no idea what to say now.

He gave a dramatic sigh as Janine stared fixedly at his candles. "Yeah, I see what you mean," he chuckled. "How about this? You give me a smile, and I'll go get you a drink." He got to his feet and looked down at her expectantly, a small smile on his lips.
