In terms of e-readers, I've finally overcome my loathing for them. I still prefer paper/hardbacks because I love the smell of books and I love their weight and all that other good stuff (if they make an app that includes "book scent" I might actually stop killing trees, but the fact remains: I love paper). But I'm too poor and scoff at paying for an e-book. Especially if I already own it in hardcopy format.
I don't remember ever dreaming about flying, and if I have, I've clearly forgotten. However, I've far too often dreamt about going to work. Far, far too often.
I agree - I wouldn't buy an e-book I already owned, but the immediacy of it is kind of appealing. Being able to buy the sequel to a book you just finished at 2:00AM...that's what convinced me. I still buy the vast, vast majority of my books in hard copy.
There should be a way to stop yourself from dreaming about work, am I right? There are old wives' tales about how to prevent nightmares - clearly we need something to prevent dreaming about the workplace!
