I'm heading off to Switzerland shortly, but I am not as confident as I once was. I can't believe I am worrying about the size of my hand luggage! I actually wanted to travel very light and pack everything into my hand luggage, but I can't take gels or liquids and I can't bring on anything larger than a notebook bag. A French Canadian friend I met in Kununurra, Western Australia in 2003 will be visiting me in Cheltenham this weekend. It will be her last stop before she returns to Montreal. April Fool
Barely twelve hours after getting my new car, someone has smashed the left-hand wing mirror! I had tried to turn it in but it was putting up a bit of resistance and - ironically - I didn't want to break it! There's also a chip in the windscreen. New Car
I swapped my car for another one today, with 10,000 less miles on the clock and a slightly newer body. It's been quite a busy day today. Got up at 5:30 to load my dismantled wardrobe into the car. Hangin' in Hull
Up in 'Ull this weekend visiting my ikkle bro and spending time with the parents, who are also visiting ikkle bro. I got a "Good" grade - no significant errors, which means I passed the chartwork exam yesterday! I am now a qualified RYA Dayskipper! (Just need the certificate now.) -
