i think that that is perhaps the most achingly beautiful and lyrically devestating livejournal post you have ever written; and on top of that, it perhaps may be the most honestly open and truthful you have ever been.

First and foremost you are not now nor have you ever been FAT or overweight. The only standard by which that is true is the crazy fucked-up, COUNTERINTUITIVE standard of Hollywood. Women in America look like us.
And secondly, you gotta live for you. It would be awesome if every woman in the world took a stand and said I'm not gonna exist within these body standards and totally toppled the system. But that's not going to happen. And for now that system is real. I'd like to say I lost the weight I did for me, but I didn't. I lost it to be treated differently, and if that's the choice you have to make to get by, aint nobody gonna judge you.
