I have not posted anything here for a while. Not that things haven't been going on, but there hasn't been much to update. We went down and fixed up Laura's grave over the weekend, as her birthday was Friday. It was looking a little neglected, since heavy gas prices have prevented frequent trips (it is about a 200 mile drive south of here, in Ohio ( Read more... )

After Laura passed, I had the task of going through all of her belongings, some of which included a few giant boxes of unfinished garments. A fellow designer and friend of Laura's, Kambriel had been in touch with me, and offered to take the items, and complete them. Now, they are all done and available for purchase. I just got word from Laura's mother that Laura's stone was set today. This is such great news. I may have to run down there this weekend sometime.

The irises we planted last year have bloomed, and interestingly enough, the pansies are still thriving with life, surviving the winter ( Read more... )

Just a quick update to let everyone know, Laura's headstone has been paid off. Thanks to everyone who helped, and thanks again so much for the support over the past year and a half. It has been tough, and it still is, but I'm glad the headstone will be in place soon. There is more going on, and I will post that later when I have more time.
