Wasn't it? Although, in fairness, we had so little to go with...I certainly wasn't going to do the, "Ballet?" moment! lol
Glad this inspired a rewatch. ID4 is such a classic and so much better with a sprinkling of MM!

So sorry. Though I didn't come up with the ending so I can't really take the blame for it, right?! lol Gotta hate the perfunctory emotional death before the big dramatic crescendo in any action movie.
Newnumbertwo did say the backstory made it sadder, though, so I guess I'm sorry all over again!
