:p #4 makes me sad for him; he should never have had to hide his intellect, irrespective of his powers.
I agree, but that would worry anyone who was already carrying around a big secret- "If people notice he's a prodigy, they'll start digging and asking questions we can't afford to answer."
And I love gardening and figured Clark would too.

SV Clark has good reason to worry about becoming a lab rat, so that keeping of secrets becoming second nature is totally understandable. I love his love for Bruce, his friendship with the heroes, and still wondering if things could have worked out with Lex.
I've always felt that SV Clark would have been perfectly happy in Smallville if he didn't have special powers.
15. Clark loves to garden. It makes him feel connected to the place that, willy-nilly, has become his adopted home. It’s also a socially acceptable way to get really, really dirty.
Perfect! Connecting to the Earth this way is natural for a man whose powers are natural-based (the sun).
And I do love #3 about SV Lois. She is crazy, she drives Clark nuts, and she's one of the most loyal and best friends he has.

I put that in for you- we were talking about it in the comments to my first story and it just sort of appeared on the page.

That, and it lets him connect to the planet in a way he can't when he's surrounded by concrete.

Yay! :)
It's fun to talk back-and-forth about these characters, isn't it? Sometimes I get my best plot bunnies just talking with other fans.

Not to mention, Bruce and Smallville Clark is a true love but I never get to read it.

I think the poor boy needs a big sister.

I have a few others in this series and Smallville Clark is all I write- I like other 'verses but haven't really got the feel for them.
