So in about 2 hours (at 1:26am to be precise) I will be 20 years old.  I feel so old.  I've already lived for 2 decades!!!  It feels like my childhood is really over now.  Technically I was an "adult" at 18 and 19 but I was still a teenager.  Now I feel like I actually am an adult and I'm never going to be a kid again.  It's sad =(.  I do think it ( Read more... )

So, my summer has been going pretty well so far.  I basically like both of my jobs, especially the one at Cheever House, and I really enjoy being up here with my friends.  I can't believe I'll already be going home 3 weeks from Saturday...although I think it will be nice to go home again.  This will be my longest time away from home ever - 10 weeks ( Read more... )

So, I'm halfway done with college!  I still can't believe that - it sounds so unreal and impossible.  I feel like just last week Lindsay & I were walking around the lake, Haley, Ray, & I were laughing during Diana's speech, none of us recognized Hillary! ;), and Jamie, Becca, & I were falling asleep in Chem class.  How can it already be half over ( Read more... )

Today there was a person walking around campus at 11AM dressed in a green dinosaur suit.  I had to shake hands with him/her.  They proceeded to jump into a car and leave.  Weirded out.

Well in my opinion, 2004 gets a big SUCK IT.  This year was just plain old bad - it contained death, me being in very poor health, and two sucktacular winners (the Red Sox and Bush).  I've decided it was one of the worst of my life...which I guess isn't saying that much, b/c nothing too bad happened, especially compared to the devastation in ( Read more... )

So I made it.  I'm finally home, after 3 long weeks including hours of studying, 4 finals, and a 6 plus-hour car trip in bad weather conditions.  It feels really great to be home.  Showers are nice and hot and strong, I can cuddle with my kitties, I can sleep as late as I want in peace, and I don't have to do any work or critical thinking for 6 ( Read more... )
