Today I witnessed both a citizenship ceremony and a menorah-lighting, two things I had never done before. They were both pretty nifty.

I've been in a citizenship ceremony. Don't know any jewish dudes though :(

I was actually really surprised to be present at a menorah-lighting, since I don't recall ever having met a Jewish person in my town before. But it was cool.

On the other hand, new Canadians are a dime a dozen in these parts, and there were like 73 of them being made citizens. It was pretty awesome.
