Chaulk one up for ignorance and bureaucratic bullshit.

I think I have come up with a cool idea for larping: Cut-scene battles. As in, coreographed fights. Like, plot chooses a fight to take place within a session, either between whole groups (plot vs characters) or one-on-one fights. These would be rehersed prior to event to act as a plot device to speed things along. It could even be a fight between ( Read more... )

I'm actually starting to get excited by the whole prospect of it and forming some things for costume and characterization. So I'm at work today and for the second time in my career there I do something for a complete lack of anything better to do seeing as how there was very little work to do. Suffice it to say, it inculded "fencing, fighting, adventure, chases, escapes, torture, giants, true love, and miracles."

Yeah, that's right, the WHOLE thing... in my head...
