OMG..I'm so happy this story is back. I just read the last chapter, that I missed somehow, and this one and I just love everything about it! Hope you'll post more soon.

Regal!Adam rocks so much, can't be said enough. Added in with Protective!Adam this chappie was brill ^^

Thank you! I enjoy Adam throwing his weight around. He's usually so polite and generous in interviews, but I think he'd be a scary person to sincerely anger.

Yeah totally, can't quite decide if I think it's more likely that he'd more or less explode with anger or just go all cold and deadly quiet. The former fits since I take him to be free with his emotions, but the latter almost seems more probable for some reason.

This is gold. Each chapter gets more interesting than the last. I love the dilemma Kris is in. Oh noes, he's attached to a fey prince rumored to be a sex god!? I pity and congradulate him at the same time. This story was dark, but the situation right now is a little bit funny.

Thank you! Kris's situation is a tad ridiculous, I agree.

The first section was deliberately a bit darker. Thematically we're pretty much in Act II and it's a bit lighter now that they've come out of the Canyon, but hopefully there will still be some darkness to it.

Oh, there's more! I was with Baraz here, but I'm all for ruthless practicality. He comes off very sympathetically to me (and, aw, his affection and allegiance to Adam is touching).

Oh, I love Baraz. I'm a not-very-secret Adam/Baraz shipper, really. I do think that sending people off to be tortured is not really an admirable character trait, but in general I'd agree he's just being efficient.
