I feel your pain. Our whole family got sick November 18th. It’s the middle of January and we’re still running a fucking fever. We all ended up in the ER twice, my mother and I were coughing up blood, and I couldn’t get out of bed for three weeks. The worst of the symptoms lasted about 3.5 weeks. We all had a fever of 108 at several points, the kids had to sleep on ice packs in front of a fan to keep the damn fevers down, it was horrible. I get sick a lot with really horrible shit, it’s not uncommon for me to end up in the ER because my immune system is just that bad, and once I almost died from pneumonia when I was a kid - Covid was worse. I’ve had divorces that were more fun than Covid. Fuck Covid.

Hopefully it doesn’t kick your ass like it did ours. Maybe you’ll be one of those people who don’t even know they’re sick.

Shit. Sorry man, I really hope it doesn't give you too much of a kicking.
At the moment, about half of my collective friend groups either HAVE covid, or someone in their immediate family has it. Shit's fucked.

yeah, me too.

no symptoms yet, so I'm still cautiously optimistic that I somehow dodged the bullet, or that my immune system + 2 shots is enough.

I have a test, but i don't want to waste it until I have symptoms... and at that point the test wouldn't tell me anything I didn't already know anyway.

Fingers crossed.
If you're able to isolate without changing much (I've been working from home for almost 2 years) there's not much point in testing without a good reason.

Yeah, isolation isn't a problem.

Looks like I'm just getting it mild, just a cough that comes and goes.
