You may try to track what types of foods could be causing the spikes. For myself, I tend to retain water weight after heavy carb or sodium days. Also, heavy exercise can cause water to retain in your muscles

Hi! Thanks so much for posting, I think you raised some great points.
I am definitely going to try to get more fluid into my diet. As of right now I drink 2-3 glasses of water a day, and it feels me leaving groggy. When I'm properly hydrated I not only feel healthier, I think better.
I also see your point about calorie intake. I'd had in mind that I wanted to keep it low but not so low that it negatively impacted my metabolism. So perhaps I won't worry so much about it!
Annnnd, I also think that tracking types of food as well as overall calories is smart, too. Thanks so much for all your great feedback and encouragement! :)
