from the therianthropy/otherkin communities and the furry fandom. I'm willing to let it public during a few days, only screening non-friends. Those who don't want to read about a certain subject, just don't click on the lj-cut.

Sorry to hear you've been having troubles with morons... a lot of people clearly don't get the concept of lulz and take stuff that is meant as satire far too seriously for their own good. All the best with your comic project, and I look forward to seeing how that comes together!

Yeah, the furry fandom (and the furry smut) is worth lulz and satire. If it was only that, no harm done. But how people take that thing too seriously (like: if you draw a smutty pic that features a feral you get the etiquette of zoophile) has a bad influence in the end. Nothing to gain from those dudes, only negativity. I've met some cool dudes in the furry fandom, but there are others I really wanna avoid.

It ain't especially direct trouble, but a general feeling my place ain't there. I just feel not at ease.

I have an enjoyment for fantasy art. Furry Fandom aside and I share your dislike for the Pokemon, Digimon etc... Things. I have done much work for WoTC (Wizards of the Coast) and I enjoy the things I find within the those things and the things I find within my Historical research regarding the Shogunates.

But I understand your fustration and rather than attempt to dissuade you I wish you all the best in your future endevours. Walk with the light my friend.

Thanks, Rithnok. I'll probably draw some stuff for next fantasy/Celtic con in Belgium (next year), and I'll see what other fantasy artists say about it.
