Some of those movies I haven't watched yet. I'll definitely give A Dog's Breakfast a try simply becuase of your glowing rec (and DH).

Plus, where did you find candied salmon? It's looks rather interesting.

And I had no idea you were a canuck as well. I'm from near Toronto. I love any show/movie that makes fun of or references us.

Did you watch Stargate/Atlantis at all? The whole movie is filled with Stargate actors, and it's just brilliant. It's David Hewlett's creative baby, and currently my favorite movie. :)

You can find candied salmon at most grocery stores I think... at least I get mine from Safeway.

I am also a Canuck! I'm from Fort Saskatchewan, which is near Edmonton. Canadian jokes are so much fun. :)

Some great choices in there, in my opinion :) Of course, now I want wine gums and I doubt there's a shop nearby selling them that's open at the moment. So it goes...

I think I've now watched all of Stargate, and it's a good series - but I think it's a bit too episodic for me. I was spoilt watching Babylon 5 fifteen years ago, it makes everything else look inferior ;) I had the chance to catch the end of Stargate but I've not managed to watch Stargate: Atlantis consistently. How well does it hold together as a show?

Mmm, wine gums... evidently this is only a British/Commonwealth thing? I can't believe they don't have them in the states! They're definitely missing out. :)

Stargate was good just for the enjoyment/entertainment factor. The overall plotline that tied the season together... meh.

Atlantis is a very good show, but in terms of being episodic, it's pretty much the same as SG-1. It's mostly the same writers, same producers, etc, so yeah. Basically another version of Stargate. In my opinion a slightly better version, but still really close. :)
