Today I went to grab lunch with a friend at a Carl's Jr.

Normally I wouldn't write of such things but this one visit rather shocked me.

For those who know me, you know I'm allergic to both garlic and dairy so have to avoid those. They won't kill me. The dairy thing, I can take something for it. The garlic thing.. that's a bit more serious but anyway ( Read more... )

For my birthday, one of my friends arranged for us to go to a local Sushi restaurant in Boulder. Zenmai Sushi~

It's a small hole in the wall kind of eatery in what's essentially a street of side to side establishments, and because it's Boulder, my car pool buddy and I had to drive around to find parking, which ended up being a distance away. ( Read more... )

1) a nice Nikon camera I'm eyeing from work (vamped up point and shoot that mimics an SLR and has HD capabilities for video and 26x zoom. O.o )
2) Disney's Unanniversary edition of 'Alice in Wonderland'
3) a pair of prescription sunglasses that can be altered so they don't hit pressure points on my head.

Not my typical co-operative rp writing, because while that's alot of fun, it's limiting in it's own ways. And when others drop out, lose interest, or whatever... I have the best vet ever! (My cat, not me...) Ok, maybe not ever but they're pretty freakin' cool. Not only did they scan my cat for her microchip, informing me that they'll check it every time she goes in just to make sure it's working... but they had 3 medical people with me and Suki in a VERY tiny little room.
