Saw Nickelback last night, and I have to say they sound better live than they do on a run-of-the-mill stereo. Papa Roach was bad, missed Saving Abel, and Hinder was good. It's so rare to see someone actually like Nickelback. The haters are very vocal, the lovers not so much.

I saw Trans-Syberian Orchestra in Columbus one time. In addition to being the best live music I've ever seen, it was also the best pyrotechnics show. There were lasers and smoke and explosions and fountains of fire framing whichever guitarist was doing the most badass solo at any given time... It was crazy. What was really stunning was how well the fire went with all the music, it was like watching that "Wizards in Winter" video of the guy's christmas lights, live, for 3 hours, and with FIRE.
Summary: Music + Fire = Win.
