Blessed Yule!

So, Irene hit, things weren't too bad here, we lost power for about 10 min or so. Lots of rain and local flooding, but everything's ok out here.

Countdown begins! 11 Days before we leave for Ireland!

Saw Nickelback last night, and I have to say they sound better live than they do on a run-of-the-mill stereo. Papa Roach was bad, missed Saving Abel, and Hinder was good. ...in an awkward sort of way it's almost nice to know giant snakes won't be making a reappearance as we're systematically destroying their potential habitat.*sigh* I think I would rather have the snakes.
