Today is Australia Day, our National Day of celebration. Being a public holiday a lot of people have the day off to celebrate in their own way. It usually involves getting together with mates and family, having a BBQ, an adequate number of beers and generally having a good time.

Thanks...the weather was too unpredictable with lots of localised flooding...just about every event was cancelled!

The day didn't actually come to much, but it was very nice to relax with a few drinks.

And that's just the women!!!

(You can tell I'm at work seeing the very worst of this behaviour, can't you!!?

I don't know where you go to spend Aus Day, but we had none of that here! LOL. But I do agree...the women are usually the most feral in these situations.

Oh, I spent it at work, of course... Shuttling the people between the city and the FAR Western suburbs!

I did the Big Day trips too, and they were all remarkably well behaved. But very, VERY sunburnt! :-)
