The biggest question regarding time and time-travel is whether time is linear, 2-dimensional, or 3-dimensional. As humans we can only perceive time seemingly in a linear fashion. From observation it is very apparent that life-forms are a product of the environment in which they live. What if one were to take the environmental factors away from a lifeform but still give the life form just the bare minimum sustenance it needs.
