My Dad managed to fix the LCD screen on my laptop! Good thing too, as I want a MacBook Pro, but am holding out for the fabled 2011 revamp!
I finished watching BSG. OMG. This obviously deserves a post of it's own. (No spoilers in the comments please, as I have friends who are still watching!) I just spent hours looking for icons

They're crazy aren't they?! We were just saying "oh my God, we're in Hobbiton" rather a lot. It was such a weird place, the ground was just so uneven because of all the mine shafts. It was the coolest place!

I love Dartmoor, I went there as a child! I can't remember what we did, but the place is just magical! I remember seeing lots of leaflets for the jail!

I hope poor Merlin improves quickly.

PS I love that photo of the tree! The ground is so interesting! Here all we have is flat, or rolling hills. Little tiny hillocks are fascinating and beautiful!

Thanks! I'm so glad you like it! The ground was just so bizarre! All churned up from where the mines had been capped. We joked that it looked like Hobbiton! :D

I'm so glad you liked the pictures! Thank you! Haha, I know, I can't believe the snow has disappeared! It melted quite quickly once it started! We had some rain and then one warm day and it was gone!
I'm glad you think Merlin looks big! He's a bit of a runt to be honest, bless him! Derbyshire has a lot of sheep, not as many as Wales, but it's a biggish industry here too - and the local collies seem to be HUGE, stocky things! Merlin is all lithe and wiry! I don't know if it's just because he's built that way or if it's because he's Welsh and a different breed! I don't think he'll grow any taller (which doesn't bother me really, I wanted a huge wolfish dog...but I'm only small myself, so he fits me really well!) but he might widen a little, he's so pointy and narrow at the moment!
