In which I overreact and panic about eyes. And have an appropriate icon.

Those of you who have twitter will already know that my lack of updates is due to worry and woes regarding Merlin's other eye. I knew I'd spoken too soon in my last post! Don't feel obliged to read this, just keeping you up to date!

Hopefully, it's going to be fine... )

Man, scary stuff. D: I can understand worrying about pets, and feeling compelled to look up things and just ending up even more more freaked out. Hope things turn out alright! <3

Thanks so much, his eye seems to be improving!

I'm so glad I'm not alone! My friends and family are always telling me not to turn to "Dr" Google...but I just can't help myself.

I love your icon!

Thanks so much for understanding! His eye just looked like...nothing I'd ever seen! It really does seem to be improving now he's having treatment, phew! I think the fact that he's had a cold at the same time made everything seem worse. Thanks again. ♥

The Sandman introduced me to comics. So much love for that series.

The weird thing is, Merlin has been sneezing backwards. It's like being in Twin Peaks! Apparently it's quite common, but I've never heard anything like it! "Reverse sneezing" seems to be the term for it! So odd!

I'm really happy he's getting better, and my best thoughts go out to him for a full recovery! *hugs* I get overworried whenever one of my birds acts funny even slightly. Like one of them had a weird looking nose and I kept Googling since I thought it was something bad. It turns out it was from newsprint as it washed off.

Oh, I remember the pretty parrot from your Twitter posts.

Thank you so much, sweetheart! He really does seem to be improving with the treatment.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who turns straight to google! But I'm sorry that you have the same tendency to worry! Oh bless, I'm so glad it was just newsprint!

You were one of the first people I thought of when I found the bird! ♥
