Afghanistan Again with a brief detour I guess

Yet another Stan
Well I'm outta Afgan, however I'm stuck in another former soviet block country that ends with a stan. I've got another day here before I get on a bird that heading back to NC. Deployment
Right about here month 3 it starts to suck, like really bad. You've got nothing to say when you call home you've been doing the same thing every day for 3 months straight. Well I'm in Afgan and it's not like Iraq, I don't have wonderful internet access and all that happiness... I've done one of the hardest things I have to do sense I've been in... Sargent
Well today around 1500 I'm getting promoted to Sargent. It's nice I've been a Corporal way to long and I've maxed out my rank. So the MOS finaly opened and I'm getting pinned. Well lets see I got married sense my last post, crazy as that might sound and well Im happy with where I am in life. Currently Im in Guernsey Wy, we're almost done doing some training for a deployment to Afganastan. I'll be heading out there sometime around Febuary. Christmas is next week and I'm pretty excited. I'm not going home this year, I went last year and this year is someone else's turn to take leave. I'll be spending it with Melissa for the most part. Well things are going good my leave in Texas ws a disaster it's a long story. Melissa and I are doing great, I love the he'll outta her and look forward to seeing her everyday when I get off work. Texas
Well I'm in the airport waiting to get on a bird and fly back to Texas, I'll be there tonight and there is cold lonestar light and fresh deer meat waiting for me.
