okay - webcams are fairly cheap now, so I'm considering doing some kind of conference-style classes... is this a possibility yet now?
I mean like connecting with more than one person at a time visually (like the old 'Ma Bell' used to offer big corporations in major cities years ago) live - "video-conferencing" I believe is what I'm looking for ( Read more... )

On your question on how to be wireless outside the home, there are free wi-fi spots and spots that you pay a fee for usage. What I have is a wireless PC card from my cell phone company. Since you are with Verizon, I know that they have a PC card. They are usually around $59.00 a month for unlimited use. What I like about my PC card is that I can be traveling in my vehicle and be on the internet, while my husband is driving. It's great. Check with Verizon, you'll be amazed at what is available.
