My mom died this morning ( Read more... )

I told my mom it is okay to die today. It was impossibly hard to do, but I knew I had to say it. She isn't able to communicate anymore and barely opens her eyes but once or twice a day. Being here at her house and helping her through her end of life is the most difficult and most important thing I have ever done.

It will be any day now.
