Isn't life so damn random at times? Where are you taking your daughter for your road trip? Oh and what school did you decide on?!

We're going down to Aptos, near Santa Cruz, for my sister's wedding. And it looks like I'll be staying in Chico for school -- it just makes the most sense, money-wise, to stay living with my folks if I can. school without a full time job is *infinitely* nicer than school with.

as long as I don't mind not dating for two years. *sigh*

That's awesome I have family in Santa Cruz. I miss that place. Almost went to school there myself. And it makes sense to stay in Chico I'm sure.
Why wouldn't you be able to date for two years though?
I'll be in CA (Sacramento and SF) from July 19-26th. I'm sure you'll be busy with work school but if you're in that area at all we should get some beers. :D

I'm living with my parents -- makes dating a little weird / difficult. Which is what I get for being 30 and living with my parents.

hrm. I'm leaving for Italy around the 26th of July, but I'll be available before that in either city -- my brother lives in the Bay and I'm down there fairly often.

and I *do* like beers. What's bringing you down this way?

Which direction are you planning on driving to get there?

Seems fastest from here to scoot over to 5 from chico and go down to 505 / 680 / 880 / 17. we're a little concerned with speed 'cause we're leaving at 11 (in the ideal world) and the rehearsal starts at 4. Do you need a ride?

No, we're unfortunately not going. Just not working out schedule/moneywise right now. If you were going down 80 I was going to ask you to pick up some small stuff for Christina and Nathan, but nothing worth going out of your way for. (And I didn't really expect that you would be coming this way, since going through the Bay Area doesn't tend to be the quickest way to get much of anywhere).

gotcha. going through the bay seems to be the quickest way, actually -- but in this case skipping the Sacto area seems to be in order.
