1) the kiddo absolutely loves indian and thai food. It is fun to have a toddler beg for curry.

2) I am proud of myself for losing 1/5 of my body weight. I could lose the same amount again according to medical guidelines, but I would be thrilled with half that. Yay, back down to pre pregnancy weight!

just as a heads up to people I have come into contact recently, a stomach bug seems to be running through my family (N, L, my dad, my brothers). it seems to clear up in about a day, but it is very unpleasant in the interim. i go to bed now.

we have power again, yay! we only lost power for about 2 hours (we think), but it made for a restless night, and now I am very very tired, and have to start getting ready for the day.

I just found out that my cousin (close friend kind of cousin) is getting married the same day as N's brother. I'm not sure how we're going to manage it, but I don't want to miss either of them, so I think there will be a fair amount of driving that day.
