Crockpot Fail (almost)

Ooops. I didn't actually calculate the time that I would be out of the house and therefore the time that the pot roast would be in the crockpot. I mean, you just throw stuff in the crock pot, magic happens, and then you get dinner

Just put water in it and call it stew.

Next time I will do a stew instead. I've cooked stews forever and had them turn out just fine.

You put enough broth/liquid in there, and you can basically cook forever. And the longer it cooks...the tastier it gets. :)

Most Indian food looks like pureed baby food... but it's tasty, yes?? Don't stress about the appearance of a crock pot meal. It's just part of the nature of a crock pot.
