Today I am thankful for the quiet times--those few moments each day when I can just be. I don't get many of them, I realized, but they are lovely, especially when I'm outdoors. A moment of sunrise. The splash of cherry blossom color against a grey sky. They are moments of centering calm in an otherwise hectic day.
