Napa
It is nice to have a break once in a while! :) Last week, I had the chance to go to the Napa area. We stayed at Calistoga, which is 40 minutes away from napa.

Preserverance
It's been a while since I have updated LJ. Not much has been going on with me, besides work and studying as usual. This past week I was getting the test results from a standardized test (RICA) that I have been trying to pass forever and I finally got the results that I wanted to see: I PASSED!!!!! Great Weekend!
I usually have a wonderful time over the weekends, but this weekend was extraordinary! :-) On Friday, I went to Disneyland after not going to Disneyland after over 10 years! Las Vegas Trip
I know everyone says, " What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas... but I did enjoy my time in Vegas. I arrived on a Thursday and the weather was absolutely fabulous! :-D I stayed at the MGM Grand and it was a fabulous room. Since we were at the MGM Grand, I got to go in the pool. RICA :-(
Since I have been with student teaching, I have been trying to pass the RICA, which is another standardized test that I need to pass in order to get the teacher's credential. Somehow I am almost there, but not quite. I keep getting discouraged when I do not pass the RICA, but having such supportive and wonderful friends has helped me stay postive ( Read more... ) -
Korean BBQ
This month has flown by really fast! While I am trying to finally finish the requirements for the teacher credential, I have also had some fun time hanging out with lovely friends! New Years Celebrations
I had a great time celebrating the start of the New Years! :-) Before I went out for the festivities of the night, I had to eat my noodle to signify a good year for 2010! End of Student Teaching
On Tuesday, I finally ended student teaching at Canfield Elementary. When I started teaching Kindergarten, I thought it was very tough, but in the end I successfully was able to handle the 27 children in the class. Football Game
Even though student teaching has been very busy each and every day, I have found time to relax as well, which is nice! :-) During the first weekend of Novemeber, I went to my very first football game! It has been a while since I have posted to this! :-( With student teaching, I don't really have time to post, but I will catch everyone up to speed. It has been a hectic couple of weeks student teaching. I enjoyed my time immensly at Overland and learned quite a lot. Now, I am student teaching at Canfield and this school is very different.
