Short vacation!
Finally after summer class, I decided to take a short little trip on my own. I drove to the area of San Luis Obispo. It takes about 4.5 hours to get there if you do not stop on the way.

Relaxing

Happy July 4th!
I hope everyone had a nice July 4th holiday. :-) This day was rather slow for me, but in the end it turned out to be quite nice. I got to taste burmese food and we went to marina del rey to see the fireworks. I have never been this close to seeing fireworks! Judy's wedding festivities
When the year started, I was like Judy's wedding will not come for a while... but alas once it hit june, it was like OMG...... IT IS TIME FOR HER WEDDING! End of school year!
Wow! the school year went by really fast! Now, the school year is finally over and I officially am going to be able to have more time to relax and be able to sleep in. YAY! I don't have to wake up at 6 in the morning anymore unless I have class on the weekend. So, it will be a relaxing summer ( Read more... ) -
Temple experience
On Friday, the 13th I got the opportunity to attend a temple. One of my good friends, Judyvivamadrid is getting married at the end of the month! I can't believe how fast the time has approached! New Apt
Just to let everyone know... I finally moved into my first apartment! Surprisingly, the room is quite big and it is big enough that I can someone else live with me, but i have the room all to myself! I should really get a sofa in my room where I can read instead of using the bed. Well, that is all hope everyone is having a nice day! -
Oberlin 5 year reunion
I thought that my oberlin 5 year reunion was so far off... but surprisingly it crept up on us quite quickly. The last time I went back to oberlin... the airport was packed so much... so I decided to leave early... but when I arrived at the airport, I got through the line quite quickly. Carol's Party
I decided to take a short vacation down to San Diego and it was awesome! This was the first time I drove so far from Los Angeles... I left early, because I expected a lot of traffic for my drive down to San Diego. Surprisingly, there was not that much traffic, and I arrived in San Diego at about 2:30. I left LA, at about 1130. Oberlin Event/ Ken Hamao concert
Every year, there is a event at a oberlin alum's house that lets alums and newly admitted students come together and they all mingle. This lets the newly admitted students ask questions to the alum who live in the area. It was quite interesting to meet the variety of newly admitted students!
