Over the past few weeks I've been seeing a lot more Nicci filtering into your Dean on a lot of fronts. While I appreciate that you've been playing him for a long time and he's probably developed in a lot of ways, what I see is not Dean anymore on a lot of basic levels.
Honestly, it doesn't seem like you take the character seriously anymore. For an example, his drunk post (82) after fourth wall day. People don't just start acting like everything is hunky dory and apathetic when they get drunk. Dean sounded absolutely nothing like himself in most of those threads. Particularly his thread with Kirk, since that was where he appeared drunkest. Dean and Kirk may be friends (they appear to be, anyway) but Dean was being more forthcoming about his problems and honestly, the way he was talking he seemed high. I don't know if you've ever been intoxicated, but Dean has been shown intoxicated in canon and it looks like you're pulling your canon for his drunkenness from Yellow Fever, in which he is OOC the entire episode because of his

This thread with Buffy is hard to pinpoint exactly what was going on that's wrong in your characterization, because Dean goes from being okay to making absolutely no sense. He makes claims that he and Sam are the only people who deal with demonic shit? What about all the hunters from where he comes from? Wouldn't it make more sense for him to assume that Buffy is a hunter based on her claims? And after that he completely flips out on her in a way that is just the furthest from Dean I've ever seen. He argues like a 12-year-old girl and gets offended (see: above) instead of actually making his point and making it clear that he's unwavering his opinions. Dean is supposed to be inflexible, but mature enough to make it clear that he doesn't care what other people think about it as long as they stay out of his way. But, in this thread, he completely goes off the reservation on her and then turns around just for a final comment of "oh, I hope you adjust well :)". It's bipolar in a lot of ways that Dean isn't.
I would quote the entire first paragraph of your Dean and John section here, but it's huge so I'll just let you know this is in reference to that whole paragraph. Dean and John never appeared to have a perfect father-son relationship. Dean was unhealthily codependent on his father just like he is on Sam. He may have seen the flaws but he loved his father so much that he ignored them and pretended not to see them. He even yelled at Sam when they were younger (A Very Supernatural Christmas) for making snide comments about him because his loyalty to John surpasses anything. Even though in Dark Side of the Moon he confesses that John and Mary didn't have the perfect marriage, he in no way faults John for that. Dean in no way resents his father. There are no implications of that, there are implications that despite all the shit, Dean loves him more than anything. Dean is Michael in human form, not Lucifer. He's the loyal son, the perfect soldier. He doesn't secretly detest the father

Moving out of your meta as reference and back into actual posts. The above portion has been ... a while in the making, but what really motivated me to post it was your two most recent posts with Dean. I understand that you've canon updated him to post-S5, but again, you can't just throw out all of his past characterization to portray that he's depressed. Dean has coping mechanisms, and he would never, ever make it that clear that he's whining about his problems. Especially not over such an open network. Think about immediately post-Hell Dean. He remembered Hell the entire time, and he tried to play it off like he didn't so that he could get away with people not worrying. He acted completely normal when he was suffering the most painful experience of his life. He wouldn't use Sam's disappearance as an excuse to complain and garner pity or get attention like these posts are doing. He would simply try to act normal. Everything in post 83 was fine until after talking about the Admiral's shitty sense of humor, then he starts
