I'm not sure what Christmas is. But I would ask for...Derek. He doesn't have to be here. I'd just like to see him and know how he's doing.

I'm not sure I'd ask for anything... I can find simple things pretty easily around here, or else it'd be vodka and cigarettes.

Really? Most have certain things they would like, even if it were something small. I suppose both of those items, however, are easily found aboard.

Or you could request something for someone else. Not all people could be so altruistic, however.

Yes. That is correct. I could have something I have wanted for some time, or I could do something for someone else. I would benefit myself with selfish actions, or rely upon my heart to benefit someone else.
